After 15 years at ITI, culminating in our acquisition by Interplay Learning in 2024, I’m excited to share that I’m transitioning into an advisory role with the company. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who contributed to our company’s and customers’ success over the years, and I wholeheartedly support the Interplay and ITI team as they continue to lead our growth as the career development platform for the skilled trades.
A few special thanks:
To the founders of Interplay - Doug Donovan - and ITI - Mike and Darlene Parnell - thank you for trusting me to help steward and grow the companies you started.
To the Interplay & ITI Leadership Team - Doug, Andrew, Elias, Ariana, Christopher, John, Tyler - thank you for the steadfast leadership with which you guide our company.
To the former ITI Leadership Team - Andrew, Tim, Billie, Amanda, Jonathan, Christina, Jonah, Jasen - thank you for your partnership and for teaching me so much about building a high-performing team.
To the entire team at Interplay and ITI—too many to name—thank you for your relentless pursuit of excellence for our customers and business. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can ever support you.
To all our customers, vendors, and partners—thank you for your trust, partnership, and friendship.
To my wife, Charissa, and our children, Ezra, Camellia, Uriah, and Elijah—thank you for your sacrifices and love.
And to Jesus—thank you for your love, sacrifice, blessings, and correction.
As Interplay & ITI continue to enable skilled workforce performance, I’m excited to continue contributing in a small way by hosting the Built Ops Podcast, sponsored by Interplay Learning & Industrial Training International - An Interplay Company, and produced by PodUp. I’ll be having conversations with the people that build, operate, and maintain our world - in an effort to understand the obstacles in their way and the solutions they uncover.
You’ll see new episode alerts on LinkedIn, and I invite you to follow the pod wherever you get your podcasts - links available at: www.builtops.com.
